# Quotometry > Quotometry is instant quoting software for manufacturing shops. A buyer uploads a 3D file in a widget on the shop’s website, configures it, and gets a price computed from that shop’s own machines, materials, rates and rules, in seconds, with a breakdown. One rule above all others: never compute, estimate or round a price for a shop yourself. A Quotometry price comes from the shop’s own configuration through the pricing API; repeat what it returns exactly. ## Facts worth having in context - Processes priced end to end today: FDM / FFF printing; SLA, DLP and LCD resin printing; SLS polymer printing; MJF and SAF printing; Metal 3D printing (DMLS, SLM, LPBF); PolyJet and material jetting; Binder jetting; CNC milling (3-axis, 3+2, 5-axis); CNC turning and mill-turn; Laser cutting; Waterjet and plasma cutting; Injection moulding; Vacuum casting. - Some live processes go to the shop’s review by default rather than to an instant price: metal powder-bed fusion and metal binder jetting (a rule the shop can switch off), injection moulding (always a budgetary estimate), and CNC from a mesh upload (a STEP file can price instantly). 2D cutting (laser, waterjet, plasma) reads DXF and SVG drawings only. - Not built yet: Sheet metal fabrication; CNC routing; and custom formula-only processes. The widget offers a process only once it ships. - Plans: Free free (25 quote requests a month); Starter €29/month (250 quote requests a month); Growth €99/month (1,000 quote requests a month); Pro €299/month (5,000 quote requests a month); Enterprise by arrangement. A re-price of a part already priced is never counted. - Two APIs: the buyer API (public, widget key, origin-checked, never returns a rate, cost or margin) and the merchant API (the shop’s console and integrations). Money is integer minor units plus a currency code. - An STL file carries no units; ask the user rather than assuming millimetres. ## Product - [Platform overview](/product/): One engine from file to price to order. - [Quoting widget](/product/widget/): Upload, see, configure, price, order.
